Your Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region is celebrating 25 years of Helping Donors Share more than $150 million in grants to help strengthen our community. Do you know how the Community Foundation works? Who it helps? Why people choose to give to and through it? Community Foundation President/CEO Curt Detjen and Vice President of Marketing and Communications Tammy Williams answer these questions and more as they look back at the successes and challenges of the past and look ahead to the future, including philanthropy’s role in preserving our region’s quality of life.
About our Speakers
Curt Detjen - President & CEO
Curt Detjen joined the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region in 2001 and has been its President/CEO since 2003. He is a product of our community, moving back in 1994 to become Appleton’s Director for Economic Development. He is a graduate of St. Norbert College and the University of Notre Dame.
Tammy Williams - VP of Marketing & Communication
Tammy Williams has been with the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region since 1999 and is currently Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Before joining the Foundation staff, Tammy spent eight years in television news working as an anchor, reporter and videographer at television stations in Green Bay, La Crosse, and Rockford, Illinois. She is a UW-La Crosse graduate.
